HORTICULTURE PROGRAM AWARD
The Horticulture Program Award will be awarded annually to the Horticulture major or honours major who is in his or her second year of full-time studies and who has obtained a GPA of at least 7.0 in Redeemer courses that are part of the major. Priority will be given to students from the Haldimand, Norfolk, and Niagara regions who have worked in, or are currently working in, greenhouses and who exhibit leadership qualities in this environment.

Interested student must submit an application, including a short letter of recommendation from his or her supervisor at the greenhouse facility, to the Financial Aid Office by March 31. The Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science will nominate students to the Academic Standards Committee, which will select the recipient.

Eligibility: For students from the Haldimand or Norfolk counties

Criteria: Student registered to study in horticultural diploma program and who have the highest admission average. Financial need may also be considered.
